I feel little to no brain fog or insomnia these days. Flox related insomnia and brain fog *sometimes seems to go away for people with time, but with the severity of my symptoms, I felt that the best thing I could do for myself was to take massive action to support my body and not simply wait for time alone to heal me. Floxies burn through minerals at a very high rate so replenishing the basics like potassium, magnesium, chloride and salt were critical for me in overcoming symptoms like brain fog, insomnia and chronic fatigue.

Here are the main things I’ve done that I feel have made the biggest difference in that area. There’s probably a few I’m missing, and I have more resources available with discount codes in my relief guide but this is a good starting point of the basics. This is how I was able to heal these symptoms ⬇️

Remedies:

• 4-5 electrolytes a day with at least 96oz of filtered water daily. My fav is the Jigsaw Health Potassium Cocktail (code is ‘celebrate10’ for a discount.)

• Weekly Mineral IVs without B6 (more information on this topic coming out soon in V3 of my FQ Toxicity Relief Guide)

• Extensive healing of GI (this takes time, but modalities like colostrum, lots of collagen, carnivore diet for a short time, lowering stress, ozone, glutamine, meditation, sleep hygiene, dealing with suppressed emotions, etc all really helpful — for me this included raising HCL and slowing down gut motility. Highly recommend doing a GI Map to get more clarity on what’s going on for you)

• Daily Instazen from Regen Labs (my code is ‘celebratethelittlewins’ to save $)

• Micro-dosing Psilocybin to help build new neural pathways (including a bit of a deep dive on this topic in my upcoming Nervous System Guide)

• Oral Methylene Blue (always away from micro-dosing but really helpful for mental clarity — favs are from LifeBlud (code is ‘celebrate’ to save) as well as Troscriptions ‘Just Blue’ Troche w/o caffeine (code is ‘celebrate’ to save)

• 250mg-500mg pure L-Theanine with no fillers. My favorite is from LifeBlud (code is ‘celebrate’ to save)

Foundational elements:

• Removing all trigger foods and substances (alcohol, caffeine, soy, seed oils, refined sugar, gluten, chocolate, additives/fillers/gums, msg, natural flavors, restaurant food due to lack of knowing how food is processed or sourcing, etc.)

• Balancing circadian rhythm and regulating nervous system (deep dive on both of these elements and their importance on overall health in my nervous system guide coming soon!)

• Brain training exercises, brain games (I love octordle, my fastest score is 22 seconds lol. If you can beat me be sure to screenshot me a DM hehe)

• Giving myself permission to explore the depths of my mind in all forms to better understand what my body is/was working through + asking guardian angels and guides to provide me with the resources I need

• Quantum energy healing (DM me if you want the names of some very skilled practitioners)

• Intentional phone and technology breaks

• Pick up a book, draw, write, sing, express creatively and give my brain the *opportunity* to problem solve, the *opportunity* to challenge myself.

• Get back to nature as often as possible, ground to the earth and soak up the sun (daily, if possible!)

• Trusting my bodies miraculous ability to heal while supporting it daily with the right foods, hydration, meditation, sleep hygiene, lowering stress, with heavy emphasis on healing my GI and regulating nervous system.

ADDITIONALLY— I grew up studying TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) while practicing tai chi and learning various forms of energy work. I learned to look at stagnant QI (chi/energy) when health issues present themselves. **Brain fog is directly related to the spleen and its capacity to clear QI/energy to the head and brain without obstruction.**

The spleen functions best when you:

• Create consistent eating patterns

• Eat meals around the same time each day, don’t skip meals, don’t scroll while eating (allow your mind to rest while letting your body focus on digestion.)

• Eating warm foods (bone broth, stews, congee) and creating a sleep routine can really help the spleen.

• Sleep by 9:30pm (spleen works to regenerate itself from 10pm-1am)

• I take a lot of ginseng as well and ginseng can also be amazing for spleen health.

• Acupuncture points for spleen health like ST40 and GBi4 can be really helpful for brain fog.

• Stress and worrying can also be damaging to this area so lowering it at all costs and doing things that bring you joy is crucial!

If you’re just starting on your healing journey, remember that building a solid healing regimen takes time and to not overwhelm yourself trying to do a million things at once but to rather implement one / a couple things every week while celebrating your little wins. 😉
