Would you believe me if I told you that these short ribs took 10 minutes to prep? They are nutrient dense and dare I say deliciously nourishing. Making slow cooker short ribs has never been easier. Prep this before your day starts, and by the end of it, you will have a deliciously nourishing and protein packed meal.

The star of the show is my favorite Kettle & Fire beef bone broth. Adds so much rich flavor and collagen to these short ribs. Use code ‘CELEBBRATE’ to get a discount.

Serves 4

Ingredients:
4 Bone-In Short Ribs (I used Grass Fed/Finished)
Salt to season generously
2 Shallots, cut into quarters
4 Carrots, chopped into large pieces
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
16oz Kettle & Fire Beef Bone Broth
1 cup water
1 tbsp Herbed Sea Salt (linked in my Amazon storefront!)
2 Bay Leaves

Instructions:
Heat a large skillet over high heat. While it heats up, pat short ribs dry and generously season with salt.
Sear short ribs on each of the 4 sides for about 60 seconds per side.
Chop shallots and carrots into large pieces and place into bottom of slow cooker.
Place short ribs on top of shallots and carrots. Add in the garlic, italian seasoning, bone broth, water, salt and bay leaves.
Put lid on and cook on low for 6 hours (can cook up to 8) until meat is tender.
Serve on mashed potatoes or rice and enjoy!
